David has enjoyed a 28 year career in the finance industry working as a private wealth manager, trading system designer, Commodity Trading Advisor, and portfolio manager. Prior to Co-founding Sabana Capital Management, David spent 9 years working as a private wealth manager for Global Investment banks Lehman Brothers and UBS in both Texas and N.Y., and with Southwest Securities in Dallas. Before joining Lehman Brothers in 2000, David was the founder of Vision Market Timing, an investment firm that managed a market neutral fund, and specialized in the research and development of quantitative, option, interest rate, and equity trading strategies. David has conducted extensive seminars in the U.S. and internationally on the use of derivative products for hedging and yield enhancement activities. David holds an M.B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin, and a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas Wesleyan University.
